Swimming lake, mountain bike circuit and children''s games at Lavaré 25 min drive. Excellent walks and cycling in the Forêt de Vibraye. Le Mans, famous for its 24 hr circuit, approx 1 hour drive. A holiday in this area would not be complete without visiting the Loire châteaux and tasting and buying local wines direct from the producer - Amboise 75 km with its Leonardo Da Vinci museum, is excellent for a day out. Other châteaux within 90 min drive include Blois, Chambord, Cheverny. Paris approx 2 hr drive or take a train from La Ferté-Bernard 30 km. International airport: Tours 80 km.

Euro Disney 2 hours by TGV from Le Mans This typical C19th French barn has been imaginatively converted into a holiday home with large sloping grass gardens and private pool 12 x 6 x 1.2-2.4m depth with security alarm. Adjacent to the main house is a converted stable, which offers additional independent accommodation for four, if required at extra cost of £350. (This property is only available with the main house). Pool heating is charged at cost, if required, payable locally. BBQ and table tennis.

Newly refurbished barn using many of the original features such as exposed beams and timber framework. Entrance into the house is through a glazed hallway. The open staircase leads to the first floor living and kitchen area with exposed timber trusses and beams. Plenty of natural lighting coming from roof Veluxes and dormer windows. Large lounge with comfortable seating. Down 2 steps to light open plan contemporary kitchen/dining room with microwave, american style fridge/ freezer and dishwasher. Ground floor. Bed 1: double, ensuite bathroom; bath, WC, wash basin, walk-in shower. Patio door onto own terrace, plus a separate study area. Bed 2: 2 singles with patio doors to terrace. Bed 3: 2 singles. Sep bathroom with WC and walk-in shower. Laundry room with sink, washing machine and drying area. Separate staircase to Bed 4: double, en suite shower/WC. Linen included in rental. Oil fired central heating, if required at extra cost. Cot and highchair on request. Friday changeover.
