The village of Neuvic is 1km away and boasts a large beautiful lake which, during the summer, is home to a variety of water-sports including sailing, water-skiing and fishing. The town offers a small supermarket and a variety of shops as well as two nine hole golf courses, horse-riding facilities and three excellent restaurants, two which are located on the edge of the lake. There is adequate shopping available in Neuvic and Ussel is twenty minutes by car for large shops. There are five of the “most beautiful villages of France” an hours’ drive away (three are clustered together) and the beautiful river towns of Argentat and Beaulieau sur Dordogne are less than an hour by car. The Auvergne volcanic mountains are within easy reach in a day for mountain walks and spectacular scenery. Sarlat in the Dordogne is a two hour drive. International Airport: Limoges 152 km/ Bergerac 207 km/ St Étienne 249km.

Renovated farmhouse, beautifully decorated with large fireplace, located in 8 hectares of beautiful peaceful woodland area and fields. Although within walking distance of the village, it is isolated and offers an incredibly peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The house itself sits on 1 hectare of landscaped gardens and has a separate gîte which sleeps 2 plus an infant (only available to parties of 7 and over). Large barn housing a games room. Private pool 8 x 4 x 1.4m depth with security system cover. BBQ area for outside dining. Ample on-site parking and access to beautiful walks on your doorstep.

Large living/dining area with Satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Bed 1: double, ensuite bath/WC. Stairs to first floor and Bed 2: Double. Bed 3: 2 singles. Bathroom/sep shower/WC. Separate self-contained gîte with kitchen area and washing machine. Bed 4: double. Bathroom.
