There are many magnificent old houses, lovingly restored in the centre, including those owned by Nicholas de Staël and Picasso, which is now an art gallery. Narrow streets wind through this stone village leading to small shops and a few restaurants and cafés for local cuisine. Cavillion 20 km, with its melon market and wealth of history including pretty little streets and squares with majestic houses, a beautiful Synagogue, cathedral and Roman arch. Avignon, 42 km, with its Papal Palace, many museums, ancient bridge and lovely shopping areas. International airport: Marseille 80 km.
