Area around the property is a very pretty mix of farmland and woods set in rolling hills, an ideal environment for walking, riding or cycling. Visit two spectacular châteaux on the Dordogne, Beynac for its stunning views, Castelnaud opposite, where ‘medieval warriors’ demonstrate siege weapons from the 100 Years’ War. Waterpark at Cahors, and swimming lakes at Lanquais or Villeréal, 20/30 min drive. Some of France’s most beautiful medieval buildings and fascinating cave paintings all within easy driving distance.
