Pine clad countryside of Les Landes, most of which is protected Natural Park, offers walking; picnicking, museums and preserved sites all within easy reach. The Pays Basque and the Spanish border (2 hours), provide spectacular scenery, mountain railways and restaurants all with a touch of Spanish culture. Other outdoor activities including horse riding, fishing, canoeing, cycling, tennis, walking and golf available locally. Bordeaux is 1.5 hour drive with it''s old town and renowned wine producing areas. The Atlantic coast with miles of golden sand is also 1.5 hour drive. Coastal towns of Biarritz and St Jean de Luz offering elegant shops, restaurants, boat tours and fishing trips are also 1.5 hours drive. International airports: Bordeaux 130 km/Pau 90 km.

Surrounded by countryside, the ambience is one of peace and tranquility. Terrace with canopy and private 8 m circular swimming pool (uniform depth of 1.15 m) with security alarm, all in half an acre of enclosed gardens. Unobtrusive owners live in a neighbouring property so are on hand if help is needed. BBQ.
