"We would definitely recommend Sherwood Castle Holiday Forest. There is plenty to do both on and off the park. We went for 7 days and on 2 of the days did not leave the park. Our 6 year old enjoyed the play areas the childrens mountain bike trail and most of all the swimming pool. The park is very close to 2 National Trust parks that had great walks and cycle tracks. We will most definitely be going back again!!! " |

"We would recommend Sherwood Castle Holiday Forest anytime. It is in a gorgeous setting with comfortable funiture and beautiful log cabins. It has lovely walks and a small petting zoo with lots of other things to do such as archery and the swimming pool. Everything is a very reasonable price and the location is great. It is fantastic for a relaxing holiday but we never wanted it to end. Rufford Mill is very nearby (less than 5 minutes) with two tearooms and a restaurant (carvery on Sundays). The tearoom near the abbey does a fantastic fry up hot chocolate and cakes. Do not hesitate to book this place it was clean and comfortable and the staff are the friendliest people ever! " |

"We had a fantastic time at Sherwood Castle. The log cabin was immaculately clean spacious and had a warm homely feel. Everywhere on the park was very clean and well kept and the staff were all extremely friendly kind and helpful. My 9 year old niece loved every minute we visited the animal corner and the indoor games facilities every day. The price of the holiday and on site activities was exceptional value for money and does not reflect the quality of the park. Should you wish to venture outside there are beautiful forest parks within a few minutes drive. We can't wait to come again and will recommend it to everybody! Book up now!!!" |

"Kids loved the animal corner and feeding the pigs our scraps! Excellent locality felt like we were in the middle of the woods but actually everything was very close supermarket takeaways fish and chip restaurant - all 2 minutes away. Lots of farms adventure lands etc all within a 5 - 10 mile radius - great when you have 2 young children." |

"Sherwood Castle Holiday Forest was a great place to stay with plenty of attractions to visit in the area (even in February). We stayed in a Sylvan Lodge which was very cosy once we'd got the log burning stove going - rather than being an inconvenience it made the holiday more fun for our 6 year old daughter who loved the place. Recommended!" |
