Set in rural location close to Hadrian's Wall Springhouse Country Park is a superb base from which to explore this magical area and is home to a superb array of wildlife. You can discover many great walks through the beautiful local countryside right on your doorstep.
Nearby Hexham with its ancient Abbey is well worth a visit. Charming villages and great country pubs are a plenty. Durham Newcastle Northumberland National Park and the breathtaking North East coastline are also within easy reach.

| "The park is in a beautiful setting with superb walks/runs on the doorstep. It is a safe and quiet area for young children to play in and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Springhouse Country Park to other families." |

| "We had a lovely time. The park is small and relaxing with rabbits round nearly every corner the staff couldn't do enough to help and a visit to Kielder Water is a must for anyone staying here. The nearest town of Hexham has a good selection of shops with plenty of parking. We hope to go again sometime." |
