Situated right on the Atlantic coast, and awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, Le Vieux Port enjoys direct access to a long, sandy beach, backed by sand dunes, which shelves steeply into the lively waves. There's also a splendid adventure playground, tennis, table tennis, and all sorts of games and sports events during the busy summer months, when the atmosphere is extremely lively. You'll find that the park's own grill restaurant makes the ideal place to eat too, when you're not at the weekly barbecue, or occasional disco held in high season. Delightful Bordeaux and bustling Bayonne are also both within easy reach by car. |
