This award winning park is situated on the shoreline of the Lac de Chalain and is a great place to explore the lakes and mountains of this wonderful area. Lac de Chalain has a superb family atmosphere with a good range of facilities including a superb pool complex with sunbathing area and a flower decked bar and restaurant terrace. In high season the site becomes very lively, with plenty of organised entertainment. There's also a lakeside beach where you can swim, canoe and windsurf. The area is great for walkers, with rolling countryside and cascading waterfalls just waiting to be discovered. The Jura is a wonderful region for exploring; the Herisson Waterfalls make for a spectacular day out, while the French Alps are also close by. |
