Binham is a beautiful, peaceful village retaining all the charm and character of a bygone age. The village has the remains of an early 12th century Benedictine priory, where classical concerts are held throughout the summer and the whole area is steeped in history. The Georgian town of Holt is five miles away with the harbour town of Wells four miles away. Also nearby is the picturesque village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the tidal creek, and which offers sailing and beautiful coastal and marshland walks. The well-stocked village shop is a legendary village institution, as are the excellent butcher, gift shop and pub with its own micro-brewery.

The Flowerpot is a cosy single-storey hideaway, peacefully tucked away at the end of the owner's immaculate little vegetable garden. The accommodation is comfortable and has period furniture, together with laden bookshelves. There are views across the garden walls to the spectacular Priory ruins in the fields beyond.
