The centre of the village is just minutes away with its variety of shops and pubs. Martham is a village situated between the sea and the north Broads and is home to Martham Broad on the river Thurne which sits north of the village. It is said to be one of the most attractive in Broadland extending over 101 acres and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. With an attractive village green with pond, pubs, shops and its proximity to the sandy beaches of Winterton, Horsey and the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, it is an ideal base for exploring a wide area of Norfolk.
