Margaret House is situated in the popular lakeland village of Pooley Bridge, at the northern end of Ullswater, which has added advantage of easy access from the M6. Local attractions include the Rheged Visitor Centre, Dalemain House, the Alpaca centre, Aira Force waterfall and walks in abundance on the surrounding fells.
