Famous for its Championship Golf Course, Doonbeg also has its choice of pubs, many with traditional music. White Strand beach is 2.5 miles away and the seaside resort of Kilkee with its Aquadome (and a host of other activities including more golf) is just 8 miles down the road. It is a wonderful touring base for the rugged west coast, and Co. Kerry is within easy reach from here, just a ferry ride away. Shop. Pub. Restaurant 176 yards. Beach 2½ miles. Beach 880 yards.
