A romantic 350 year old thatched cottage located in a rural setting in Clough, Ballacolla, 6 miles from the historic town of Abbeyleix and 21 miles from the vibrant city of Kilkenny. The cottage is full of character and retains its traditional features, two steep staircases, solid fuel heating and a 250 year old cast iron Victorian Range which is fully functional. Rooms are cosy so the cottage is best suited to couples or family members. The Sleive Bloom Mountains are just 20 minutes away whilst Dublin is 1 hour 20 minute drive and local attractions include the Rock of Cashel .Shop 6 miles. Pub 100 yards. Restaurant 6 miles.
